Ian Zimprich was a Flagstaff, Arizona native who arrived in 1992 as a student at Northern Arizona University and never really left — because Flagstaff became home, and the people in it became his purpose.
He was an entrepreneur through and through. He built Alpine Computer Repair Services and All Seasons Handyman Construction Company — businesses that touched the lives of countless Flagstaff residents. Honest, reliable, and always showing up. That was Ian.
He left behind a family who loved him deeply: his mother Mary, stepfather "Pops," his dad Bob, brother Jared, sister-in-law Lana, nephew Luke, his wife Andrea, and his dogs Bella and Porter. And a wide circle of friends who each carry a piece of him.
He passed on February 23, 2026.
ApexTrade would not exist without Ian. From the earliest stages — when this platform was nothing more than a concept and a pile of ideas — Ian was there. He mentored, challenged, and pushed forward the vision that became what you see today.
That kind of persistent, stubborn belief in someone else is rare. And it made all the difference.
He never sought credit. He simply believed in the work and in the people doing it. That quiet, steady belief is what made the difference.
